In HCL's tryst
to enable quality training to our 'young' country, we have
started customized training and education services to produce
employable manpower. Customized to the industry requirements our
educational services are focused towards technologies related to IT
Infrastructure Management and IT Sales.
We have till date successfully started fourteen
batches of the IT Infrastructure Management Program, trained 250+
candidates.
The two offerings of HCL are as follows:
a) HCL's Job Oriented Training Program in IT
Infrastructure Management : The Program focuses on providing
hi-tech Training as per the curriculum to the selected candidates in
the stream of Computer Networks, Network Operating Systems, Security,
Storage and other IT Infrastructure Services. The intention is to
produce candidates who will have capabilities to be productive in such
areas of IT services where such training is successfully completed.
The program has two major parts, first one of duration 6-8 weeks
involves Instructor led training at HCL's state of the art training
centre at Hyderabad. Boarding and Lodging will be provided by HCL
during this period of Instructor led training. This is followed
hands-on practical training on-live projects of HCL for remaining part
of the year with stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month. The above training
is complemented with another program post confirmation which could end
up making the candidate, manager, in HCL with in 18 months. Each
candidate who is selected for the program, is assured of placements
with HCL Infosystems Ltd. The proposed CTC will be Rs. 2.1 LPA.
b) HCL's Sales & Marketing Training
Program: The program focuses on preparing a new breed of
technocrats who would be smart business developers also having a right
blend of technical know-how. The year long training would be mentored
by the vastly experience HCL employees. Candidates could also be
nominated for an Executive Management Program from a Management
Institute of good repute. An opportunity to gain 4 years of Hardcore
Sales experience in and an MBA in 4 years!! Program involves 4 weeks
of instructor led training at HCL Training centre. Boarding and
Lodging will be provided by HCL during this period of Instructor led
training.This is followed by practical training with Stipend of Rs.
7000/- per month during practical training. Each candidate who is
selected for the program is assured of placements with HCL Infosystems
Ltd. The proposed CTC will be Rs. 3.2 LPA.
c) HCL's Training Program for Trainee Trainers: An
extensive training program in IT Training on CCNA/RHCE/MCSE
lines duration one year. It involves class room training for 2 months
at our training facility at Hyderabad. Boarding and lodging is
provided by the company during this period. This is followed by on job
Training delivery experience at one of HCL Career Development Centre
with stipend ranging from Rs. 6000/- to Rs.10,000/. On completion of
two years at HCL CDC person gets an option of moving to HCL's
Enterprise business that is in IT Infrastructure management. Each
candidate who is selected for the program is assured of placements
with HCL Infosystems Ltd. The proposed CTC will be Rs 2.1 LPA.
Selection of the candidates to the
aforesaid programs will be based on company's selection process.
The number of seats would be limited,
and the selected candidates will join the program on payment of a fee
of Rs.1,00,000/- for program (a) & (b) and Rs. 50,000/- for
program (c). They will be getting stipend during the

single rejection case and all candidates completing the program have
been offered placement in one of HCL Group Company.
Eligibility Criteria: Program (a): 60
% and above throughout, no arrears history, Program (b & c) : 60 % and
above throughout. All engineers must passing out in 2008.
